FAQs
10 by 10 FAQs
What is 10 by 10?
10 by 10 is an initiative launched by Telford and Wrekin Council, aimed towards ensuring that all primary age children in Telford and Wrekin have the chance to participate in 10 activities. We are working with providers and partners in the local area to increase the opportunity for children to access these activities, and have developed a website so that children can track their progress.
Who can take part?
10 by 10 is aimed at primary age children, who live or attend a school in Telford and Wrekin.
10 by 10 offers may have an eligibility criteria, however there is no restriction on who can create their own 10 by 10 account or attend the majority of activities advertised in the activity directory.
Why isn’t my school on the list?
Our list of schools should include all primary schools within Telford and Wrekin.
Is your child’s primary school missing from our list? Please email 10by10@telford.gov.uk and let us know.
How do I book onto the activities?
If you find any activities that your child may be interested in, then please either visit the activity provider’s website, or give them a call.
Don’t forget to log your child’s progress in their 10 by 10 account!
How do I sign up for the 10 by 10 free swimming lessons?
For more information on our 10 by 10 free swimming lessons, please visit the Telford and Wrekin Leisure website here.
If you would like to access the free swimming lessons, then please get in touch with your local or preferred Telford and Wrekin leisure centre to register your child.
What if my child doesn’t like a certain activity?
We recognise that not all children will enjoy all of the 10 activities, which is why we have included the option to ‘Pause’ an activity and come back to it when your child feels ready to give it a go again.
